Job details
About this role
Role overview
Own the product backlog for a care-team platform used to coordinate outreach and support for people with Medicaid coverage. The work combines near-term improvements to daily care workflows with a longer-term shift toward safe, clinician-reviewed digital care, including AI-drafted assessments and actions. You’ll turn operational needs and predictive data into clear product plans that a growing engineering team can deliver and measure.
Responsibilities
- Lead product work from problem framing and specifications through prioritization, quality assurance, and release readiness. - Keep the engineering and design team aligned through kickoffs, scope refinement, sprint planning, and a well-prepared backlog. - Define how model outputs and AI-drafted actions appear in workflows, including prioritization and points for human review and approval. - Maintain ongoing discovery with care operations and product partners; turn findings into testable, prioritized opportunities. - Set outcome measures before launch, focusing on completed care actions and reduced team workload, then review results. - Coordinate clinical safety, compliance, security, and partner readiness for releases.
Requirements
- Experience serving as the first or sole product manager for a product area and establishing its practices. - Experience delivering machine-learning or LLM-powered products, including human review workflows and evaluation. - Background in healthcare delivery, digital health, or health technology; familiarity with clinical records, ordering, claims, or health information exchange is relevant. - Experience with Medicaid populations, community health workers, or safety-net care is sought. - Able to define and interpret product metrics, work across design, engineering, and data science, and investigate issues with data and code. - Self-directed and effective in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
