How does the affiliate link work?
Each account gets a unique referral link. When someone visits it, we remember the referral for 90 days using a first-party referral cookie and a browser-local fallback. Once that person creates an account or starts checkout, the first valid referral is locked to their account.
What cookie does the referral link use?
The referral link uses the first-party hj_affiliate_referral cookie for up to 90 days. It stores only the referral code, not a name, email, payment detail, or advertising profile. After the referral is linked to an account, the browser copy is removed; you can also delete it through your browser settings.
What exactly do I earn?
You earn 50% of each confirmed recurring payment recorded for a subscriber attributed to your link. The dashboard shows the gross payment, your share, and the platform share line by line.
Do free trials and failed payments generate commission?
No. A free trial, failed payment, or pending payment does not create earnings. A commission appears when Stripe confirms a paid recurring invoice.
Does the Lifetime plan generate recurring commission?
The Lifetime plan is visible in the subscriber purchase history, but it is a one-time payment and is not included in the recurring affiliate commission balance.
What happens if a payment is refunded?
The corresponding revenue and commission are adjusted automatically. Partial and full refunds are shown in the payment ledger so the balance remains auditable.
When can I withdraw my earnings?
Once your available balance reaches $50, you can request a payout. You can choose PayPal or bank transfer; requests are reviewed manually and normally processed within two business days.
What information can I see about referred subscribers?
You see an anonymous subscriber label, subscription status, plans, payment dates, and amounts. We never show a referred subscriber’s name, email address, payment method, or other personal information.
Are Stripe fees taken out of the 50/50 split?
The dashboard’s 50/50 split is calculated from the gross amount captured by Stripe. Stripe processing costs are a separate platform expense and are not hidden inside either displayed share.
