About this role
Role overview Drive software, integration, and platform projects for retail clients from kickoff through launch. You’ll keep delivery plans realistic and visible, coordinate engineering and business stakeholders, and raise schedule or scope risks early so teams can reset expectations before issues escalate.
Responsibilities - Own project timelines, milestones, and dependencies, maintaining delivery plans in Jira. - Lead delivery routines such as sprint planning, standups, backlog reviews, release planning, user acceptance testing, and go-live readiness. - Identify schedule slippage, assess its impact, and align stakeholders on corrective actions and revised dates. - Coordinate internal, client-side, and third-party dependencies and track owners against commitments. - Communicate status, risks, blockers, and escalations to clients and senior leaders. - Manage scope changes and explain trade-offs involving timing, resources, and deliverables. - Improve project standards, reporting, and release practices, and lead post-launch retrospectives.
Requirements - Experience managing technology projects with engineering teams, ideally in software, SaaS, or services. - Advanced practical Jira skills across boards, sprints, epics, dependencies, workflows, dashboards, and reporting. - Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery and the software lifecycle, including QA, UAT, and releases. - Understanding of technical systems, APIs, and integrations sufficient to surface delivery risks and engage engineers. - Demonstrated ability to manage timelines, negotiate changes, and maintain client and stakeholder relationships. - Strong organization, time management, and written communication, including senior-level status reporting. - Experience handling several concurrent projects across multiple organizations.
Nice to have - Retail media, advertising, or ad technology experience; customer-facing or account management experience. - Process improvement, entrepreneurship, or product management experience. - PMP, CSM, SAFe, or a similar certification.
Benefits and work setup - Remote-first team with a preferred location in the Greater Toronto Area. - Domestic and international travel of up to 25%.
