About this role
Role overview
Own technical product development for anti-money laundering and compliance capabilities used in customer onboarding and ongoing monitoring. You’ll connect screening, transaction monitoring, and risk scoring across verification products, translating regulatory and commercial needs into capabilities that work across markets and can be delivered from discovery through production.
Responsibilities - Unify AML screening, transaction monitoring, and risk scoring across KYC and KYB platforms. - Convert regulatory and commercial requirements into technical specifications, including REST API schemas, JSON payloads, webhooks, and matching logic. - Lead feature delivery from technical discovery and sprint planning through deployment and billing setup. - Expand detection coverage for broad and region-specific financial crime patterns. - Improve name matching, including fuzzy matching, phonetics, and transliteration, to reduce false positives and investigation effort. - Develop automation and AI-enabled workflows, and shape standalone AML modules that support customer adoption and growth.
Requirements - At least four years of product management experience in FinTech, RegTech, or B2B SaaS, with substantial exposure to anti-financial-crime products. - Technical fluency to read code, assess API schemas, and discuss backend microservices with engineering teams. - Experience translating complex regulatory or customer needs into deliverable product specifications. - Self-directed, hands-on approach suited to a fast-moving environment with significant ownership. - Fluent English and the ability to explain technical trade-offs to developers, internal teams, and client compliance leaders. - Comfortable using AI tools to improve day-to-day work.
Nice to have - SQL skills for validating backend data, investigating edge cases, and measuring detection performance. - Experience applying language models, computer vision, or advanced machine learning to unstructured compliance data. - ACAMS certification or other formal anti-financial-crime training.
Benefits and work setup - Remote-first work with flexible hours and optional office or coworking access in some locations. - Birthday leave, 10 personal days annually, seven sick days without paperwork, and extra winter holiday time. - Learning and development support, role-related event funding, and equipment for the role. - Compensation varies by work location, with location-specific details provided during recruitment.
