44 - Senior Infrastructure and DevOps Consultant

Role overview Take technical leadership of infrastructure and DevOps work for a full-time engagement lasting at least six months, with the possibility of extension. You’ll assess, document, maintain, and improve an existing environment while preparing it to support a new web service and keeping a legacy application operational. The work is fully remote and involves close collaboration with an existing infrastructure specialist and the wider team.

Responsibilities - Review and document the current infrastructure, then identify and implement improvements. - Lead work on an environment built around Proxmox, Ceph, and Jenkins. - Prepare infrastructure for a new web service while supporting the existing legacy application. - Diagnose complex incidents, determine root causes, and implement durable solutions. - Maintain reliable backup and disaster recovery practices. - Share technical decisions and knowledge, and support teammates through joint work and constructive reviews.

Requirements - Senior-level infrastructure and DevOps experience, including the ability to quickly understand complex systems. - Strong hands-on knowledge of Proxmox, Ceph, and Jenkins. - Experience with infrastructure maintenance, backups, and disaster recovery. - Proven ability to diagnose incidents and address their underlying causes. - Clear technical documentation, prioritization, and communication skills. - Professional proficiency in English and the ability to provide technical leadership while sharing responsibility.
