Paid Testing Opportunity: California Residents for Sports App Payment Testing

Role overview Complete a remote, self-guided functional test of a sports app’s subscription payment flow. You’ll make a real purchase, check how pricing and applicable Utility Users Tax are shown, and compare transaction details across the checkout and follow-up records. The purchase cost is reimbursed, and the work is offered on an ad hoc basis as projects arise.

Responsibilities - Make a $35 subscription purchase using an eligible payment method. - Review the displayed subscription price and any applicable Utility Users Tax calculation. - Confirm the payment completes and transaction details match across the checkout and post-purchase records. - Submit screenshots of the checkout, purchase confirmation, confirmation email, invoice, refund email, and shopper statement. - Redact sensitive personal and financial information from all submitted screenshots.

Requirements - Be physically located in one of the eligible California ZIP codes and have matching California billing information. - Have access to at least one supported payment method: card, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Cash App, or Venmo. - Be able and willing to make the $35 purchase with your own payment method; the purchase cost will be reimbursed. - Be able to provide the requested transaction screenshots with sensitive details redacted. - Set aside approximately 1.5 hours for the task.

Benefits and work setup Remote and self-guided; compensation is up to $25 per hour, with the $35 subscription purchase reimbursed.
