About this role
Role overview Test streaming applications on a compatible smart TV and report how well key features work. Assignments are freelance, remote, and project based, with testers using their own television to check real app behavior and user experience.
Responsibilities - Browse and search for content in the streaming app. - Check live television and on-demand video playback. - Exercise app navigation and other features, noting errors or confusing behavior. - Review the overall experience, including language accuracy. - Follow the test instructions and submit clear reports of issues found.
Requirements - Currently reside in the Netherlands. - Have physical access to either an LG Smart TV from 2015–2017 or 2022–2024, or a Panasonic Smart TV using its My Home Screen system. Panasonic sets running Android TV or Google TV are not specified as eligible. - Be comfortable following test steps and reporting problems.
Nice to have Dutch language proficiency is preferred. Previous software testing experience is an advantage.
Benefits and work setup Testing is paid and performed remotely on the tester’s own TV. Projects may be offered every two to four weeks; each session is expected to take about three to four hours. Work is flexible and depends on project availability.
