Full Stack Developer

Role overview Build and maintain product features across the frontend and backend of a platform for creating interactive learning experiences. The work spans an editor, APIs, integrations, and supporting infrastructure, with collaboration from product and design teams from initial specification through release.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain user-facing features using Vue or Nuxt and backend services using Node.js and Express. - Partner with product and design to shape and deliver user flows. - Write tested code, review teammates’ changes, and improve the quality of the codebase. - Investigate and improve application performance, reliability, and developer experience. - Connect third-party services such as payment, email, analytics, and AI providers as needed.

Requirements - At least three years of experience delivering production web applications across the stack. - Strong JavaScript or TypeScript skills and experience with a modern frontend framework such as Vue or React. - Experience developing REST APIs and working with databases such as MongoDB. - Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and debugging issues across frontend and backend systems. - Ability to communicate clearly and explain technical tradeoffs to teammates.

Nice to have - Experience with Nuxt, Vuetify, or real-time collaboration technologies such as WebSockets or Yjs. - Familiarity with rich-text editors or frameworks such as TipTap and ProseMirror. - Background in developer tools, education technology, or business-to-business software. - Experience integrating AI or large language models into product features.
