About this role
Role overview Help shape the self-service experience for advertisers using a large digital advertising platform. As a senior full stack engineer on a growing product-led growth team, you will identify customer friction, turn ambiguous needs into practical improvements, and deliver features across web interfaces, APIs, and backend systems. The role is remote within Canada and partners closely with Product, Design, and engineering teams.
Responsibilities - Build customer-facing experiences that help users discover the product, get started, and launch campaigns. - Work with Product and Design to understand customer needs and deliver thoughtful, iterative solutions. - Own features across the stack, with an emphasis on intuitive, responsive, scalable web experiences. - Use user feedback, product data, and experiments to guide decisions and assess outcomes. - Plan work that moves unclear problems toward useful solutions and measurable customer improvements. - Design and evolve frontend experiences, APIs, shared components, and backend services. - Contribute to technical reviews, mentor colleagues, and improve performance and maintainability.
Requirements - At least six years building high-performance web applications and customer-facing products. - Strong full stack engineering experience, particularly in frontend and product development. - Experience collaborating with product and design partners to develop and refine end-to-end experiences. - A customer-focused approach and ability to make sound product and technical decisions. - Experience using product data, customer feedback, A/B tests, or other experiments to guide and measure improvements. - Comfort working through ambiguity and explaining complex problems clearly.
Nice to have - Experience with React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Ruby on Rails, or Go. - Familiarity with digital advertising or large-scale data-driven platforms.
Benefits and work setup - Remote-first work for candidates located in Canada. - Health coverage, mental health support, paid time off, and parental leave; benefit details may vary by location and employment arrangement. - Work-from-home reimbursement and optional coworking membership, plus hubs in London and Toronto. - Support for training and personal development, including courses, conferences, and learning resources.
