About this role
Role overview
Build and lead the function responsible for onboarding customers to a financial data and reporting platform. You’ll own deployment strategy, team operations, and customer outcomes, creating a consistent implementation experience while helping customers apply the platform to their business goals.
Responsibilities
- Own implementation strategy, processes, tools, staffing, and outcomes across customer deployments. - Hire, coach, and develop the implementation team, setting clear goals and performance expectations. - Track measures such as time to value, delivery timeliness, customer satisfaction, and resource use, and use them to improve the function. - Create repeatable implementation playbooks and automate processes where practical. - Lead complex or strategic deployments, serve as an escalation point, and build relationships with senior customer stakeholders. - Coordinate with sales, customer success, and data teams on scoping, handoffs, and transitions after implementation. - Plan team capacity across concurrent deployments and bring customer feedback to product teams.
Requirements
- At least 7 years in implementation, professional services, or customer onboarding; enterprise software, financial services, or consulting experience is relevant. - At least 2 years leading a team or function and building processes as the organization grows. - Experience owning function-level outcomes and metrics, not only individual projects. - Strong program and project management skills, including oversight of many concurrent deployments. - Ability to influence across customer experience, product, engineering, and data teams. - Clear communication skills and confidence presenting to executives and senior customers. - Comfort working through ambiguity and creating structure.
Nice to have
- Strong finance knowledge, especially venture fund or portfolio company reporting. - Interest in technology, startups, entrepreneurship, or venture capital.
Benefits and work setup
The organization is remote-first and holds recurring team offsites. Benefits include health, dental, and vision coverage, flexible vacation, and paid parental leave. The stated US salary range is $115,000–$145,000 annually, plus equity; compensation varies by experience and location.
