Role overview Build the data systems that supply audio datasets for machine learning and support the development of future AI products. Responsibilities - Find audio data sources and create dependable pipelines to bring data into training datasets. - Build and refine large-scale processing systems, balancing data quality, throughput, and cost. - Work with AI researchers to improve datasets and support model development. - Own engineering projects from identifying the problem through implementation and ongoing improvement.

Requirements - A computer science or related degree, or equivalent practical experience. - At least five years of professional software engineering experience and strong backend fundamentals. - Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux environments. - Experience building and operating production systems; data pipelines or large-scale processing experience is especially relevant. - Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and ability to work independently when requirements are unclear.

Nice to have - Experience with web crawling, data acquisition, or distributed processing. - Cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code experience, especially with GCP and Terraform. - Familiarity with machine learning datasets, dataset quality, or audio processing.
