Job details
About this role
Role overview Build backend services that underpin identity, billing, auditability, cloud pricing, and reporting for a cloud infrastructure platform. These trust-critical systems must keep customer access attributable, financial data accurate, and high-volume usage information useful under production load.
Responsibilities - Design, build, and operate Go services that customers and other engineering teams depend on. - Own features from design through implementation, testing, and production rollout. - Diagnose production issues in security-sensitive, financial, or otherwise trust-critical workflows. - Work with product and engineering partners to solve problems without established playbooks. - Help shape product priorities and technical direction.
Requirements - Strong software-engineering fundamentals and production Go experience, or systems-programming skills in a comparable language. - Experience building or operating high-scale systems where errors in identity, billing, or financial data have meaningful consequences. - Knowledge of API design, including versioning, backward compatibility, authorization, idempotency, and asynchronous patterns. - Strong debugging and performance-tuning skills, including query profiling, index design, and database optimization. - Experience operating high-load systems and hands-on familiarity with Kubernetes. - Experience with AI coding agents, end-to-end project ownership, and clear written and spoken English.
Nice to have - Multi-tenant identity, SSO, or enterprise provisioning protocols such as SAML, OIDC, or SCIM. - Production experience with billing, audit trails, notifications, feature flags, cloud pricing APIs, or time-series data at scale. - Kubernetes internals, CI/CD, DevOps, or production observability tooling.
