About this role
Role overview Own the test automation strategy for a live mobile game, improving release confidence and helping development teams find issues earlier. The work combines hands-on framework and tooling development with CI/CD improvements, test analysis, and coordination with QA, engineering, and art teams. This is a six-month contract to start, with a possible extension or transition to a permanent role.

Requirements - Demonstrated experience designing and owning scalable automated test frameworks, infrastructure, and execution pipelines. - Proficiency with unit and integration testing in C#/.NET or another object-oriented language. - Experience connecting test pipelines to CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins. - Working knowledge of multiple testing approaches, including unit, integration, end-to-end, acceptance, functional, and performance testing. - Ability to work independently, shape an automation roadmap, and continuously improve tools and processes. - Strong collaboration and communication skills, with an interest in making testing more accessible to technical and non-technical teammates.
Nice to have - Unity test automation experience, including Unity Test Runner. - Familiarity with mobile, web, or game automation tools such as Appium, Selenium, Playwright, or GameDriver. - Experience building automated tests on physical devices or through services such as AWS Device Farm or Kobiton. - Familiarity with test case management systems such as TestRail or qTest.
Benefits and work setup - Contract begins at six months, with potential extension or full-time conversion. - Compensation is listed at $72–$82 per hour. The contract is handled through a third party that offers health benefits. - Applicants must be authorized to live and work in the United States; visa sponsorship and employment outside the U.S. are not available.
