About this role
Role overview Guide investment managers and wealth managers through implementation of front-office software used in trading and portfolio management. You will lead client work from discovery to go-live, configuring workflows and helping stakeholders adopt them, while working with product, engineering, and integration teams to resolve issues and improve delivery. The role combines investment-domain knowledge, consulting, and hands-on implementation; domestic travel is expected at 25–30%.
Responsibilities - Lead front-office implementation workstreams, partnering with client leaders to design and deploy investment-management workflows. - Configure and test client environments, including portfolios, compliance rules, migrated data, security master, trade and settlement processes, and reporting. - Teach clients how to use the platform and apply effective practices across the investment lifecycle. - Coordinate with product and engineering teams to investigate defects, communicate enhancement requests, and relay client feedback. - Work with integration specialists to design, build, test, and launch customer integrations; help improve implementation tools and templates. - Handle time-sensitive go-live issues, escalating when needed, and coach colleagues as the consulting team grows.
Requirements - 7+ years implementing investment-management software in a customer-facing role, ideally involving front office, trading, portfolio management, or investment operations. - Understanding of investment instruments such as equities, fixed income, multi-currency products, derivatives, and alternatives, plus trade-order and post-trade processes. - Experience creating repeatable processes, advising customers on best practices, and delivering tailored training. - Strong communication and relationship skills, including the ability to explain complex topics and handle escalations professionally. - Ability to learn evolving software, understand different client workflows, manage priorities, and own work while keeping project teams informed.
Nice to have Wealth-management experience; project management or enterprise SaaS implementation leadership; knowledge of Agile and software development lifecycles; advanced spreadsheet skills; familiarity with office, collaboration, or professional-services tools; basic AWS, API, or serverless knowledge; or a CFA designation.
