Founding Staff / Principal Engineer

Role overview Lead product delivery across a SaaS platform, cloud infrastructure integrations and developer tools, taking work from customer problem through production release. This founding principal-level role begins as a hands-on individual contributor responsible for architecture and end-to-end workflows, with an opportunity to build and lead the engineering team as the organization grows.

Responsibilities - Own core SaaS architecture and deliver product workflows across application, integration and developer tooling layers. - Translate customer needs into product and technical decisions, then implement and review the resulting code. - Connect source changes, infrastructure configuration and cloud deployment evidence so engineers can assess risks and investigate failures. - Diagnose integration and cloud issues, including how infrastructure changes interact with live permissions and environments. - Improve the clarity and usefulness of product findings and explanations for developers. - Work directly with the founding team and, as the organization scales, help grow and manage engineering.

Requirements - Principal-level engineering judgment and the ability to move between systems design, product decisions and implementation. - Experience owning production software delivery across a SaaS product and integrations with cloud or infrastructure systems. - Ability to write and review code, shape architecture and ship complete customer-facing workflows. - The supplied role description emphasizes practical contribution: applicants are asked to choose a developer-tool repository, implement a useful feature, and submit a review-ready pull request explaining the user need and verification. - Ability to travel to Berlin for work; visa sponsorship is not offered.
