Lead Software Engineer

Role overview Lead the development of cryptographic software IP from early design through testing and delivery. You will guide a team of software engineers, coordinate work across teams, and contribute to complex engineering problems while setting a strong standard for quality and sound development practices.

Responsibilities - Oversee the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, and verification or testing. - Plan and organize delivery by setting timelines, allocating resources, and tracking progress. - Provide technical direction and help engineers grow through coaching and development. - Support hiring, training, and team management, and encourage effective collaboration. - Resolve team issues and coordinate with colleagues across functions. - Contribute directly to engineering work in varied environments.

Requirements - Degree in electronic engineering or computer science, or equivalent practical experience. - At least 10 years of experience in software design and/or verification. - Experience leading engineering work, or senior-level expertise and readiness to take on a technical leadership role. - Ability to guide a team while maintaining focus on software quality and engineering best practices.

Nice to have - Background in cryptographic engineering. - Knowledge of methods for resisting side-channel attacks.
