About this role
Role overview Build and extend an HTTP-based payment protocol that lets software make payments through web requests. The role spans protocol design, smart contract integrations, and reusable server components, with a focus on helping other developers adopt the standard.
Responsibilities - Develop protocol features for machine payments using HTTP 402. - Integrate smart contracts across EVM-compatible networks to support automated settlement. - Create facilitator and resource server implementations that developers can use as reference projects. - Collaborate with standards groups and open-source contributors to support adoption.
Requirements - At least three years of blockchain or Web3 engineering experience. - Strong understanding of HTTP semantics and REST API design. - Solidity proficiency and experience with at least one of Go, Rust, or TypeScript. - Familiarity with EVM internals, gas optimization, and cross-chain interoperability. - Interest in open standards and protocol infrastructure.
