Operations Software Engineer

Role overview Build and support internal software and automated workflows used across company operations. The role spans data models and integrations, tools for go-to-market and support teams, and systems connecting product development, manufacturing, fulfillment, and warranty processes. You’ll work across the organization to improve how colleagues do their jobs and keep internal services reliable.

Responsibilities - Design data models and combine information from internal systems and external data stores. - Build tools for commercial and customer support teams, and extend backend services across the product lifecycle. - Develop data pipelines with manufacturing partners to provide a unified view of manufacturing programs. - Replace manual tasks with automated workflows and build backend and frontend systems using Rust and TypeScript. - Manage access controls, deploy internal and SaaS solutions, and help teams decide whether to build or buy. - Monitor internal service availability, support colleagues across business systems, and join the on-call rotation for critical services.

Requirements - Experience writing software in Rust and TypeScript. - Experience building automation that improves colleagues’ workflows. - Empathy for internal users and a strong sense of responsibility for the success of their work. - Ability to work across teams and support a range of internal services and SaaS tools. - Availability for at least four hours of overlap with Pacific Time during the workday.

Nice to have - Experience working directly with APIs for CRM, customer support, finance, or other business data systems.

Benefits and work setup - Remote role with flexible working hours and at least four hours of Pacific Time overlap. - Listed compensation is $275,000 USD regardless of location. - Medical PPO, dental, and vision premiums are covered in full for employees and dependents.
