About this role
Role overview A regional product operations role for Latin America focused on taking new currency corridors live within cross-border payments infrastructure. The mandate spans sourcing liquidity providers, standing up settlement rails with banking partners, clearing jurisdiction-specific regulatory requirements, and holding each launch to a reliability bar. The position operates with real independence, owning the regional launch pipeline and reporting to global product leadership for strategic prioritisation of which currencies matter most.
Responsibilities - Own every currency in the regional pipeline from Alpha through General Availability, covering liquidity partner onboarding, settlement rail readiness, regulatory clearance, operational setup, and pricing, and make the go/no-go call. - Translate licences, registrations, and partner permissions into permitted product scope, documented operating procedures, and live client flows, partnering with legal, compliance, finance, and engineering. - Serve as the product voice in liquidity provider and banking partner discussions, understanding the technical setup for new currency pairs and converting partner constraints into product decisions. - Navigate jurisdiction-specific regulatory requirements alongside legal and regulatory teams, ensuring no currency launches without clearance and translating rules into engineering work. - Drive post-launch adoption by tracking whether clients actually trade new corridors, partnering with go-to-market, and feeding learnings back into prioritisation. - Build a documented regional launch playbook so each successive currency ships faster than the last.
Requirements - Eight or more years in product management, product operations, or programme management, owning complex multi-dependency delivery within B2B or infrastructure products. - Hands-on background in cross-border payments, FX, card networks, or digital asset products. - Experience shipping products across multiple countries or regulatory jurisdictions. - Ability to read a regulatory requirement and translate it into product and engineering decisions without hand-holding. - Operational rigour: maintain systems that track complex work, follow up on open items, and catch gaps before they become blockers. - Based in Brazil (São Paulo or remote), fluent in Portuguese and English.
Nice to have - Knowledge of Brazilian and wider LatAm payment rails, regulatory environments, or banking partner ecosystems, with Spanish as a plus. - Experience operationalising a licence, registration, or scheme membership rather than just tracking one. - Background at a card network, payment scheme, or large-scale processor with multi-market product launches. - Familiarity with stablecoin settlement, on- and off-ramp infrastructure, or crypto payment products.
Benefits and work setup - Competitive salary and benefits package - Equity in a growing company - Fast-paced startup environment at the forefront of fintech innovation - Collaborative culture with emphasis on personal and professional growth - Commitment to a diverse and inclusive workplace
