Product Manager, Credit Card

Role overview Own key parts of a consumer credit card product as its portfolio grows, shaping both the customer experience and the business performance behind it. You’ll focus on the journey from application through activation and continued use, with particular attention to rewards and their economics.

Responsibilities - Set priorities for acquisition, activation, and ongoing card engagement, and track performance across the customer journey. - Develop the rewards experience while weighing its costs and contribution to card economics. - Work with external partners, using data and clear recommendations to guide joint product decisions. - Collaborate with engineering and analytics to define, justify, launch, and evaluate product changes. - Work with the product lead to shape priorities and own substantial parts of the roadmap.

Requirements - Experience owning a credit card product or a significant part of one. - Practical understanding of card economics, including interchange, rewards costs, interest income, and credit losses. - Knowledge of how card issuers, networks, processors, and external partners work together. - Experience shipping products with engineers and independently exploring and interpreting data. - Quantifiable results in areas such as approvals, activation, spending, or losses. - Experience working with external organizations such as banks, card networks, or retailers.
