Technical Writer

Role overview Make complex technical work understandable and usable through clear, accurate documentation. You’ll partner with engineering, product, and leadership to create materials for developers, contributors, partners, and end users, covering products and protocols from onboarding through reference content.

Responsibilities - Write and maintain product documentation, API references, onboarding guides, protocol specifications, grant reports, and contributor resources. - Read code and work with engineers to verify how systems behave before documenting them. - Consult product managers on intended use and translate that into clear guidance. - Organize complex information so readers can find what they need across different levels of technical detail. - Review published content for ambiguity, inaccuracies, and inconsistencies. - Communicate progress and resolve questions effectively in an asynchronous remote setting.

Requirements - Experience producing high-quality technical documentation, developer guides, API references, or similar material. - Ability to read code in multiple languages well enough to document it accurately. - Strong written English and a clear, consistent style. - Experience with documentation formats or tools such as Markdown, Notion, or GitBook. - Knowledge of developer documentation practices and information organization. - Ability to work with technical and non-technical audiences and collaborate with engineering and product teams.

Nice to have - Familiarity with blockchain, decentralized systems, or open-source documentation.
