Solutions Engineer

Role overview Partner with an account executive to shape customer strategy and turn complex infrastructure needs into clear technical and business outcomes. The role serves as a technical advisor across networking, data-center, and security solutions, leading customer discovery and solution evaluations while using modern AI tools to improve workflows and demonstrate practical value.

Responsibilities - Co-own account strategy and build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders. - Lead discovery workshops, tailored demonstrations, and proofs of value. - Explain architectural choices in business terms and help customers understand solution tradeoffs. - Apply AI tools, custom agents, and automated workflows to speed up analysis and address technical or operational problems. - Coordinate with regional teams, technical specialists, and channel partners to deliver complete solutions. - Support customers through regular onsite engagement in the Houston area.

Requirements - At least seven years in network engineering, technical consulting, or customer-facing solutions architecture. - Proficiency in IT infrastructure spanning enterprise networking, data centers, and security platforms. - Current, recognized industry certifications in networking, cloud, security, or an equivalent area. - Ability to lead customer conversations and connect technical architecture to customer priorities.

Nice to have - Daily practical use of modern AI platforms, including building applications or agents and designing automated workflows. - Strong discovery, presentation, and storytelling skills, including the ability to make complex topics accessible to executives. - A self-directed approach to learning about AI and emerging technologies. - A relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
