About this role
Role overview Own the product direction for tools that help employers keep a growing, multi-jurisdiction workforce aligned with current workplace policies, required notices, and compliance training. The work spans handbook creation and learning workflows, from assembling verified content and managing approvals to publishing policies, assigning training, and tracking employee acknowledgment. You will shape these experiences across direct products and partner channels, coordinating shared capabilities and expert review.
Responsibilities - Prioritize customer journeys for employers and distribution partners, and define how handbook and training workflows should work across channels. - Guide handbook intake, policy selection, jurisdiction-specific editing, review, versioning, publication, and portability when an employer changes sponsors. - Set direction for assigning and tracking required training, connecting policy updates to acknowledgments and relevant downstream HR or payroll settings. - Work with compliance experts and product, design, engineering, and data colleagues to turn customer problems into clear plans and product requirements. - Define outcome measures, use evidence to assess results, and adjust priorities when customer or product data warrants it. - Communicate product decisions clearly and surface risks early so teams can act on them.
Requirements - Demonstrated product management experience, including ownership of a customer problem and prioritization across a product area. - Ability to understand the needs of multiple stakeholders, such as a partner purchasing a service and an employer using it. - Strong writing skills for requirements and decision documents that engineering, design, and compliance specialists can use directly. - Experience defining success measures and changing direction based on results. - Background collaborating with subject matter experts in a field where accuracy and review are essential. - Experience working with engineering, design, and data teams in agile delivery, including AI-assisted workflows with clear human review.
Nice to have - Experience in HR technology, compliance, regulated products, partner-distributed or API-based products, document generation, policy or content management, learning systems, or workflow products with version history. - Familiarity with multi-jurisdiction HR requirements, or the ability to develop expertise in a complex regulated area. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Benefits and work setup - Fully remote within the United States. The listed annual pay range is $130,000–$160,000, with bonus eligibility and employee benefits. - Benefits include health, dental, and vision coverage; retirement plan with employer match; paid leave and holidays; parental leave; insurance coverage; and professional development opportunities.
