About this role

Role overview

Own the product direction for an invoicing experience used by small businesses to create invoices, track what they are owed, and collect payment. You’ll build on an established product, expanding its capabilities for growing businesses while keeping the experience straightforward for both invoice senders and payers.

Responsibilities - Set the roadmap across the invoicing dashboard, invoice creation flow, and payer experience. - Speak with customers and prospective customers, then turn their feedback into product decisions. - Prioritize known needs such as accounting integrations, templates, credits, credit memos, promotions, and coupons. - Identify practical ways AI could improve the process of getting paid. - Partner with engineering, design, data science, marketing, support, sales, risk, and adjacent product teams. - Track product growth through active users, feature adoption, and customer retention.

Requirements - At least five years of product management experience building and launching products; experience involving financial transactions is useful. - Strong judgment in prioritizing a large backlog and explaining the reasoning behind decisions. - A record of listening to customers and translating feedback into successful product improvements. - Careful attention to detail, especially where payment and invoice accuracy matter. - Ability to own work end to end, from defining the problem through launch and iteration. - Strong collaboration with engineering and design, and skill aligning cross-functional stakeholders. - Ability to learn a new product domain quickly.

Nice to have

Experience serving startups or small businesses, building invoicing, accounts receivable, billing, or payments products, or working with accounting integrations such as QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite. Prior invoicing or receivables experience is not required.
