Job details
About this role
Role overview Serve as the senior individual contributor for difficult and ambiguous analytics questions spanning supply-side performance. The role pairs hands-on analysis of very large datasets with strategic influence: findings should inform product roadmaps, operational choices, and business outcomes. It also sets analytical standards and supports the growth of other analysts.
Responsibilities - Structure complex business and technical questions into rigorous analyses, then communicate recommendations to senior decision-makers. - Write and optimize SQL across datasets containing billions of rows and build repeatable analytical workflows. - Investigate performance issues by tracing root causes across product signals and business KPIs. - Create and automate dashboards, ad hoc analysis tools, and reporting pipelines. - Explain technical changes, such as model, SDK, or auction updates, in terms of commercial and operational impact. - Lead cross-functional projects from scoping through implementation, and mentor analysts in analysis and communication practices.
Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in analytics, computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related discipline. - At least eight years in data analytics, consulting, or business analytics; high-tech or advertising technology experience is preferred. - Advanced SQL and experience with large cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or Trino. - Strong grasp of statistical inference, experiment design, and causal reasoning, including power and uncertainty. - Proficiency with Looker, Tableau, or a similar business intelligence platform. - Ability to connect technical findings to revenue, margins, and partner outcomes; present a clear case to both technical and executive audiences. - Experience mentoring colleagues and driving cross-functional initiatives through data.
Benefits and work setup Full-time remote work is available in specified U.S. states. The role includes quarterly in-person gatherings. Compensation includes equity and health, vision, and dental benefits; base pay varies by location and experience.
