Senior Revenue Analyst

Role overview Manage day-to-day revenue accounting work for a software business, applying revenue recognition guidance to customer agreements and supporting accurate monthly reporting. The role also contributes to revenue system implementations and related testing, working with the revenue accounting manager.

Responsibilities - Review customer contracts for terms that affect revenue recognition and document accounting conclusions. - Test revenue management system implementations through user acceptance testing. - Help prepare monthly revenue reconciliations and supporting analysis for internal reporting. - Review deferred revenue and contract asset balances for accuracy. - Conduct the annual standalone selling price study and update its methodology when needed. - Research accounting guidance and help maintain documentation of accounting judgments.

Requirements - Bachelor’s degree with an accounting focus. - Four years of combined experience in public accounting or corporate revenue accounting. - Working knowledge of ASC 606, including arrangements with multiple performance obligations in the software or SaaS industry. - Strong Excel skills, including building complex spreadsheets and analytical tools.

Nice to have - CPA certification.
