Senior Backend Engineer — Cryptography & Ledger

Role overview Own the backend systems responsible for signing, verification, and ledger writes, which underpin the handling of asset records. The work includes production responsibility and core architecture decisions for infrastructure used by enterprise legal and compliance teams in support of their regulatory obligations.

Responsibilities - Design and operate the core signing and verification pipeline. - Build systems that process asset records and HMAC signatures. - Manage the infrastructure through which ledger writes pass. - Make fundamental architecture decisions for the backend platform. - Take responsibility for the systems in production.

Requirements - Backend engineering experience suited to owning critical production infrastructure. - Ability to make and guide core architecture decisions. - Experience or capability in signing, verification, cryptography, or ledger systems is relevant to the stated scope.
