Workday Extend Consultant/Architect

Role overview Build custom applications that extend an enterprise HR platform beyond its standard capabilities. You’ll turn business needs into production-ready experiences, covering solution design, development, integration, and deployment while helping shape the practices of a growing specialist team.

Responsibilities - Translate requirements into technical designs for user flows, data models, and access controls. - Develop and deploy applications using the platform’s app-building tools, from configuration through production. - Create event-driven orchestrations to exchange and transform data between the platform and external systems. - Extend the data model with custom business objects and processes, and build intuitive interfaces within the platform. - Use query capabilities and REST or SOAP APIs to retrieve, send, and transform data. - Test and maintain applications, troubleshoot performance or security issues, and contribute to team development standards.

Requirements - Experience building applications with the platform’s extension framework. - Ability to design and implement complex orchestrations and integrations. - Experience with custom data objects, process design, and user interface development in the platform. - Familiarity with platform query language and REST or SOAP APIs. - Ability to independently deliver maintainable, production-ready solutions and diagnose technical issues.
