Sr. Software Engineer I

Role overview Build an infrastructure provisioning platform that lets engineering teams request and manage cloud resources through infrastructure-as-code workflows. The work centers on foundational tools for services such as databases and Kubernetes clusters, with an emphasis on secure, consistent self-service across cloud providers. This is a hands-on engineering role based in Seattle, with an onsite schedule Tuesday through Friday and remote work on Mondays.

Responsibilities - Develop reliable, easy-to-use tools for provisioning infrastructure consistently and securely across cloud environments. - Write clear, maintainable, performant code, primarily in Go. - Promote infrastructure-as-code practices and shared coding standards. - Debug issues in cloud-native distributed systems. - Help engineering teams adopt improved architectural patterns through technical guidance. - Document platform tools and workflows so engineers can use them independently.

Requirements - Experience building and scaling complex software products as part of a team. - Ability to drive technical solutions across multiple teams. - Strong programming experience in Go, Python, C#, Java, or a similar language. - Experience managing cloud infrastructure, preferably on AWS or Azure. - Experience with Terraform, Terragrunt, and CI/CD. - Background building tools that simplify operation of SaaS or PaaS systems. - Empathy for the needs of software engineers using internal platforms.
