Software Engineer

Role overview Build full-stack software and data-intensive services, shaping applications, APIs, and infrastructure from design through production. The work includes improving scalability, efficiency, and data integration, collaborating on product capabilities, and contributing to a rotating incident response schedule.

Responsibilities - Develop front-end and back-end applications, web services, and APIs. - Design system architecture and infrastructure for enterprise data handling and customer interactions. - Integrate and analyze large datasets to produce actionable insights. - Identify performance bottlenecks and address scalability and cost challenges. - Improve data management, automated workflows, deployment practices, and system capabilities. - Participate in on-call incident response and collaborate on application improvements.

Requirements - At least four years of full-stack engineering experience. - Experience designing, automating, and optimizing data-intensive platforms and workflows. - Proficiency with Next.js or React, Firebase, Node.js, and TypeScript. - Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and deployment automation. - Experience diagnosing and resolving distributed-system issues. - Practical experience using LLMs and their APIs, and using Claude Code, including scheduled tasks.

Benefits and work setup Full-time role, remote-friendly for candidates based in Quebec, Canada. The stated salary range is CAD $100,000–$210,000.
