Senior Full-Stack Engineer (TypeScript, React, Node)

Role overview Build features across a browser-based floor planning product, working from its shared TypeScript editing engine through the Node.js API and React editor. The role also covers project synchronization between browser and server, including offline use, and maintaining clear boundaries in a growing codebase.

Responsibilities - Deliver end-to-end product work across the editing engine, server API, and React interface. - Keep browser-to-server project sync fast and reliable, including offline scenarios. - Develop parts of the request pipeline, covering validation, rate limiting, sessions, and administration. - Write regression tests before fixes and maintain passing type checks, dependency rules, and test suites. - Review changes and help preserve clear module boundaries in the monorepo.

Requirements - Several years of experience building production web applications with TypeScript. - Deep React experience, including performance work on large editable documents. - Experience building Node.js services backed by a document database, including schemas, indexes, and migrations. - A test-focused approach and experience using profiling tools to diagnose performance issues. - Clear written communication for effective remote collaboration.

Nice to have - Experience with Nx or pnpm monorepos, offline-first synchronization, or Playwright end-to-end testing. - Interest in architecture, construction, or home design.
