Senior/Lead Forward Deployed AI Engineer/Architect-Copilot/Azure

Role overview

Lead customer-facing design and delivery of AI-powered workflows for enterprise environments. The work combines software engineering, systems integration, generative AI architecture, and hands-on implementation, with a focus on solutions that are secure, reliable, and useful in production. You will also help shape reusable AI platforms, tools, and solution patterns while working closely with customer teams and internal specialists.

Responsibilities

- Turn business processes and desired outcomes into technical designs, delivery plans, and production-ready AI solutions. - Implement and integrate AI assistants, agentic workflows, and automations in ServiceNow and connected enterprise systems. - Build LLM applications using prompt and context engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, tool use, structured outputs, and human review where appropriate. - Develop prototypes, demonstrations, and pilots, then refine solutions with customer feedback for rollout. - Apply reliability practices such as grounding, validation, fallback handling, evaluation, monitoring, and escalation paths. - Explain solution behavior, limits, tradeoffs, security needs, and adoption considerations to business and technical stakeholders.

Requirements

- Eight or more years in software engineering, systems integration, enterprise platforms, workflow automation, or related technical delivery. - Strong hands-on engineering experience with application development, APIs, scripting, integrations, or cloud systems. - Experience building or supporting AI/LLM applications, RAG systems, conversational tools, or agentic workflows. - Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar languages, and experience integrating enterprise applications or data platforms. - Familiarity with LLM concepts including embeddings, vector search, context limits, tool calling, structured responses, and evaluation. - Understanding of responsible AI and secure deployment, plus experience in customer-facing engineering, consulting, or solution architecture.

Nice to have

- ServiceNow platform experience, including workflow tools and enterprise data models. - Experience with Azure AI, Copilot, Power Automate, Power BI, MCP integrations, or AI orchestration frameworks. - Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, SQL, Git, infrastructure as code, or cloud deployment.
