AI Automation Intern

Role overview Help turn repetitive business processes into practical, measurable AI-assisted workflows. With mentor guidance, you’ll map opportunities, prototype automations with human review, and contribute integrations and documentation for real client work. This is a 12-week remote internship and is unpaid.

Responsibilities - Examine manual workflows and identify tasks suited to automation. - Prototype AI-assisted processes that include human review checkpoints. - Connect workflows to tools such as email, customer relationship systems, documents, or internal services under supervision. - Assess output quality, cost, speed, and potential failure cases. - Write runbooks, document limitations, and prepare handoff notes for delivery teams.

Requirements - Foundational Python or TypeScript skills. - Comfort reading API documentation and working with JSON. - Clear written communication. - Interest in applied AI, including assistants, agents, or workflow automation. - A personal, academic, or freelance project you can explain.

Nice to have - Experience designing prompts or evaluating model outputs. - Familiarity with workflow tools such as n8n, Make, or Zapier. - Basic SQL or spreadsheet analysis skills. - Interest in business operations and process design.
