Forward Deployed Engineer - Italian

Role overview Work directly with customers in the Italian market to translate operational needs into reliable deployments of AI-powered communication workflows. The role bridges customer implementations, product, engineering, and go-to-market teams, combining hands-on coding and integrations with production troubleshooting and reusable deployment practices.

Responsibilities - Gather customer requirements and turn them into clear implementation plans. - Configure and launch production workflows, including logic, prompts, and safeguards. - Build integrations with third-party systems using APIs, webhooks, and common authentication patterns. - Write small features and supporting code to handle customer-specific cases cleanly. - Diagnose live calls, workflow behavior, and edge cases, then deliver fixes and ongoing improvements. - Create reusable templates and deployment playbooks, and provide prioritized feedback on product gaps.

Requirements - Strong coding ability and the independence to implement solutions, rather than only configure tools. - Understanding of LLM systems, including prompting, tool use, retrieval-augmented generation, and failure modes. - Ability to turn complex processes into robust, testable workflows. - Experience with APIs, webhooks, authentication, and integration patterns. - Cloud deployment fundamentals, observability, and production debugging experience. - Native or near-native Italian and fluent English.

Nice to have - Voice or telephony systems, n8n, TypeScript or Python, SQL, monitoring or tracing, and GDPR knowledge.

Benefits and work setup - Fully remote, with no regular meetings and an emphasis on focus time. - Annual salary of €65,000–€95,000 plus equity. - Interview process includes an introductory call, a technical and deployment deep dive, and a culture interview.
