Senior Software Engineer

Role overview Take software products from early requirements through implementation and release, working across engineering, product, design, and customer teams. The role combines hands-on development with technical decision-making, customer collaboration, and support for the quality and growth of other engineers.

Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end implementation of product features, iterating with teammates to deliver usable outcomes. - Work directly with customers to understand goals, demonstrate product changes, and investigate production issues. - Help shape requirements and technical designs in partnership with product and design colleagues. - Communicate progress and obstacles early, and ask for input when needed. - Review code, validate changes across features, and mentor teammates in areas of expertise. - Contribute across the product lifecycle, including testing, deployment, monitoring, and incident response.

Requirements - At least five years of professional software development experience. - Experience across the full product lifecycle, including CI/CD, testing, release management, deployment, monitoring, and incident response. - Strong knowledge of software design patterns, scalable system architecture, development tools, data structures, and algorithms. - Ability to collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams and communicate technical choices clearly.

Nice to have - Experience with one or more of the varied languages, frameworks, cloud platforms, databases, and AI/ML technologies used across product teams. Examples in the source include TypeScript, Java, Python, Go, React, Next.js, AWS, GCP, PostgreSQL, and LLM platforms.
