Senior Event Technology Manager (Cvent proficiency required)

Role overview Lead the planning and delivery of event technology for virtual, hybrid, and in-person programs. The role combines client consulting, hands-on platform implementation, attendee experience, vendor coordination, and event data management; depending on the assignment, it may also include managing and developing a team.

Responsibilities - Advise clients on event technology platforms, best practices, registration flows, and attendee experience. - Manage event websites, apps, registration systems, and other technology from planning through onsite delivery. - Oversee room blocks, hotel coordination, attendee communications, databases, reports, analytics, surveys, and event materials such as badges. - Coordinate technology suppliers and support team members with pre-event planning and onsite execution. - When responsible for a team, mentor staff, manage workloads and capacity, support recruiting and employee matters, and promote consistent procedures and records.

Requirements - Eight to ten years of related experience in data management and event technology, including meeting planning or coordination. - Expert proficiency with Cvent and strong Microsoft Excel skills. - Experience with registration websites and virtual meeting or event platforms. - Familiarity with badge printing, RFID, session scanning, lead generation, and connecting CRM systems with event registration platforms. - Programming skills such as HTML, CSS, or JavaScript. - Strong communication skills, independence, and flexibility to work some evenings or weekends and travel as needed.
