About this role
Role overview
Design and guide technical integrations that help mortgage lending partners connect their systems to a financial platform. You’ll work with partner engineering teams from discovery through implementation and early production, translating requirements into secure, scalable architectures and helping resolve integration issues. The role also improves onboarding materials and reusable patterns so future launches can be more efficient.
Responsibilities - Lead technical discovery with prospective and active partners, mapping their systems, workflows, and data exchanges. - Design API and webhook architectures, recommend implementation patterns, and surface constraints and edge cases early. - Document integration plans for partner and internal teams. - Guide partners through REST API, webhook, authentication, and single sign-on implementation, including sandbox testing and production readiness. - Troubleshoot complex integration problems and coordinate resolution across partner, Product, and Engineering teams. - Improve onboarding templates and documentation, and identify post-launch opportunities to expand data use and improve partner workflows.
Requirements - At least five years in solutions engineering, technical consulting, solution architecture, or a related customer-facing technical role. - Strong ability to design and debug end-to-end integrations using REST, JSON, and webhooks. - Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, SAML, SCIM, identity systems, and secure system design. - Experience delivering scalable, production-ready integrations with enterprise engineering teams. - Ability to design full workflows and data exchanges, explain tradeoffs, and turn unclear needs into structured implementation plans. - Strong troubleshooting, written communication, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice to have - Background in fintech, lending, or regulated financial services; familiarity with CRMs, loan origination systems, servicing platforms, or other financial systems.
Benefits and work setup - Remote role. The listed U.S. base salary range is $131,398–$197,097, with a 25% annual bonus target and equity; actual compensation depends on experience, skills, location, and other factors. - Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage; savings and commuter accounts; 401(k); life and disability insurance; paid holidays and time off; up to 12 weeks of paid family leave; and continuing education reimbursement.
