Remote job
Detection & Response Engineer
Job details
About this role
Role overview Develop detection and response systems that identify emerging forms of synthetic media at scale. The role combines security operations, applied machine learning infrastructure, and incident response: you’ll help systems adapt as generation techniques change and keep detection pipelines resilient under real-world conditions.
Responsibilities - Build and maintain real-time pipelines that process large volumes of images. - Create automated response workflows for newly detected synthetic media patterns. - Work with researchers to bring new detection models into operational use. - Test detection systems against adversarial inputs and investigate blind spots. - Develop internal tools for threat intelligence and pattern analysis.
Requirements - At least three years of experience in security engineering, detection engineering, or applied ML infrastructure. - Experience with image-processing pipelines and computer vision fundamentals. - Proficiency in Python and at least one of Rust, Go, or C++. - Familiarity with adversarial machine learning. - Strong analytical skills and comfort working through ambiguity.
Benefits and work setup - Full-time role, remote within the US or based in San Francisco.
