Developer Advocate

Role overview Help developers succeed with a cloud platform for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing operational data from drilling rigs. This role connects the developer community with engineering: you’ll answer technical questions, share practical guidance, and pass feedback in both directions.

Responsibilities - Learn the platform and its developer tools with guidance from a senior advocate. - Triage incoming customer support requests and respond to questions about REST APIs, data structures, development, testing, and deployment. - Help troubleshoot applications, errors, and debugging issues. - Create shareable Python or JavaScript examples, how-to guides, and answers to common questions. - Take part in demonstrations of the developer center. - Share customer feedback and product limitations with engineering teams.

Requirements - Junior-level coding ability in Python or JavaScript; basic programming skills will be assessed. - Strong written, spoken, and presentation communication in English. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-moving environment. - Collaborative approach when working with engineering, operations, sales, product, and marketing teams. - Enjoyment of learning, explaining technical topics, and helping others solve problems.
