About this role

Role overview Own the product direction for a data platform that supplies market intelligence to multifamily operators and internal teams. You’ll shape how data is collected, modeled, validated, and delivered, combining product leadership with hands-on investigation of data issues. The role works closely with data engineering, data science, product, and customer-facing teams to improve the accuracy and usefulness of the platform.

Responsibilities - Set the platform strategy and roadmap across data ingestion, modeling, quality, and delivery. - Investigate anomalies, quality problems, and metric discrepancies, then coordinate durable fixes with engineering. - Establish data quality standards, service expectations, and monitoring to catch problems early. - Translate internal user and customer needs into platform requirements and prioritized work. - Collaborate with data engineering and data science on technical scope, tradeoffs, and backlog priorities. - Track platform health, adoption, and business impact; assess data sources and partnerships that could improve market coverage.

Requirements - At least 8 years across product management, data science, or analytics, including 4 years managing data products or platforms. - Background in data science, analytics, or a quantitative discipline such as statistics, economics, or computer science. - Demonstrated ability to trace complex data issues from detection through analysis and shipped fixes. - Understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT, warehousing, data modeling, and data quality practices. - Experience partnering closely with data engineers and data scientists, with sufficient technical depth to assess assumptions and tradeoffs. - Ability to turn unclear data problems into priorities and actionable product plans; experience in B2B SaaS.

Nice to have - Experience with real estate, property technology, or market data.

Benefits and work setup - Remote-first across most of the U.S., with periodic in-person team gatherings. - Health coverage, flexible time off, paid parental leave, disability and life insurance, pet coverage, and a retirement plan.
