Full-Stack Developer (Django + Vue.js, AI) part-time

Role overview

Deliver full-stack features for a part-time product project that uses AI to analyze events in video. You will work directly with the project’s technical lead in a shared codebase, clarifying requirements, implementing agreed work, and carrying tasks through testing and delivery.

Responsibilities - Build end-to-end product features with Django on the backend and Vue.js on the frontend. - Integrate AI functionality for video and event analysis. - Discuss requirements with the client and turn them into scoped implementation tasks. - Take ownership of assigned work from development through testing. - Share progress and raise risks or blockers promptly.

Requirements - Around five years of professional development experience, including at least two to three years of commercial Django work. - Strong practical experience with Vue.js. - Experience integrating AI capabilities into deployed or production-oriented products. - Ability to work independently and deliver reliably throughout the engagement. - Strong spoken and written English (B2 or higher) and confidence communicating with a client. - Availability for the part-time engagement over its duration.

Nice to have

Experience with video processing or computer vision tools such as OpenCV, YOLO, or FFmpeg; event detection or video analytics; or freelance and part-time work with international clients.

Benefits and work setup

Remote, flexible part-time work totaling about 300 hours over approximately 12 weeks, potentially less. Some overlap with Israel working hours (UTC+2) is required; weekly hours and start date are to be agreed.
