Business Analyst, New Construction Sales Analytics

Role overview

Support sales operations for a new-construction business by keeping pipeline, territory, account, and forecasting information accurate and useful. The role combines recurring reporting and data quality work with analysis and cross-functional coordination to help sales leaders spot risks, understand performance, and improve operating processes.

Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day sales operations, including pipeline tracking, territory and account updates, and weekly and monthly business review materials. - Analyze sales trends and variances, then present actionable insights and quarterly review materials for sales leaders and builder customers. - Audit sales records, resolve discrepancies, uphold data-entry standards, and coordinate pricing updates. - Own production dashboards in a business intelligence platform, handling basic setup, data governance, and troubleshooting while escalating technical issues when needed. - Coordinate recurring pipeline reviews with sales, finance, and other partners. - Support projects, pilots, and operational tests with sales, enablement, product, and finance teams.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, analytics, operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - 5+ years in sales operations, revenue operations, business operations, or a related analytical or operational role supporting sales teams. - Experience with CRM and sales productivity tools for pipeline, forecast, territory, and account management. - Experience analyzing operational or sales data with SQL and building recurring reports or dashboards in a BI tool. - Ability to turn findings into clear recommendations for business stakeholders. - Experience supporting cross-functional processes with sales and at least one adjacent function, such as finance, marketing, or customer success.
