Senior Product Engineer, Frontend

Role overview A senior frontend engineering role owning end-to-end product experiences for a consumer crypto wallet, from problem framing through launch and iteration. The position blends strong React and TypeScript execution with sharp product and design judgment, focusing on interaction quality, motion, and craft as much as functional correctness.

Responsibilities - Own complex product features end-to-end, including problem framing, interaction design, implementation, launch, and post-launch iteration. - Collaborate with product counterparts to challenge assumptions and turn ambiguous problem spaces into polished, intuitive experiences. - Build responsive, high-performance interfaces in React and TypeScript, with attention to motion, microinteractions, loading states, and transitions. - Prototype and iterate rapidly using code, design tools, and AI-assisted workflows to find the right interaction solution. - Evolve the shared component library and design system to improve consistency without sacrificing flexibility. - Proactively identify and drive improvements to existing product surfaces, upholding high standards for performance, accessibility, and reliability.

Requirements - 5+ years building high-quality, customer-facing web products in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent command of React, TypeScript, modern CSS, and core browser technologies. - A track record of shipping complex product features end-to-end rather than working only on isolated components. - Strong product and UX judgment with the ability to recognize weak interactions and propose better alternatives. - Experience building sophisticated animations and interactive UI with attention to perceived performance. - Comfort working in a distributed, fast-moving team with multiple parallel problems and an AI-native development workflow.

Nice to have - Experience building or evolving design systems and component libraries, plus strong Figma exploration skills. - Hands-on Web3 experience with wallets, dApps, blockchain interactions, or DeFi. - Browser extension development experience and comfort operating in startup environments emphasizing trust and autonomy.
