SDE - UIUX

Role overview A software engineering position focused on building the user-facing experiences that security professionals rely on to detect, investigate, and respond to threats against critical infrastructure such as water, power, and healthcare systems. The role emphasizes ownership beyond implementation: making thoughtful engineering decisions, simplifying complex data, and improving the surrounding engineering practices and team. It is a remote, mission-driven role embedded in a globally distributed engineering organization.

Responsibilities - Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing evolution of front-end features from concept through delivery - Make engineering decisions that balance user experience, technical quality, delivery speed, and long-term maintainability - Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering peers to convert ambiguous problem statements into clear, well-scoped solutions - Identify and execute simplifications that reduce technical complexity and improve how software is built - Contribute to front-end architecture, tooling, engineering standards, and developer experience initiatives - Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve engineering quality and velocity

Requirements - Solid engineering fundamentals applied to real-world problems - Demonstrated judgment balancing delivery, quality, and maintainability - Track record of owning meaningful features from concept through delivery - Ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Design, and Engineering functions - Mindset oriented toward continuous improvement of software, systems, and the teams around you - Professional experience with modern front-end technologies including React, TypeScript, testing frameworks, state management, and contemporary build tooling - Comfort using AI-assisted development tools - Approximately two to four-plus years of professional software engineering experience, with equivalent experience and demonstrated capability valued equally

Nice to have - Experience building or contributing to shared UI component libraries or design systems - Background working closely with UX and Product from concept through delivery - Experience designing or integrating with backend APIs and distributed systems - History of driving technical initiatives or influencing engineering practices across teams - Exposure to cybersecurity, OT, or ICS environments
