Senior Frontend Software Engineer

Role overview A senior frontend engineer is needed to build and evolve the interfaces that hospital teams rely on every day, centered on an internal product that powers clinical care, financial health, and daily operations. The role spans product features, design system foundations, and the workflows that hold shifts together, with opportunities to extend into backend and full-stack work. It suits someone who enjoys turning ambiguous product context and design direction into reliable, maintainable interfaces that scale as the organization grows.

Responsibilities - Build and improve the frontend of the core internal product and adjacent tools, delivering features that strengthen medical quality, financial stability, and operational efficiency. - Own projects from problem framing through production release, including technical design, sequencing, testing, rollout, and follow-through. - Partner closely with Design to uphold and evolve shared standards, turning direction into consistent, accessible, and maintainable interfaces. - Set and champion frontend best practices across the codebase, including component architecture, performance, accessibility, and testing. - Collaborate with Product to understand how hospital and internal teams use the systems, translating that context into practical frontend decisions. - Extend into backend and full-stack work when it helps ship end-to-end and broaden range. - Use AI tools thoughtfully across code generation, review, testing, and documentation while maintaining quality and risk judgment. - Review work across teams and provide technical feedback that improves quality, consistency, and long-term stability.

Requirements - Strong product judgment, including the ability to read user workflows and make technical decisions grounded in real-world usage. - Proven frontend ownership, guiding work from ambiguous problem to production-ready interface. - A proactive approach to reliability, maintainability, accessibility, and scalability. - Experience collaborating with designers and working within a shared component library or design system. - Hands-on experience building or configuring AI-enabled skills, tooling, workflows, or agents that improve development practice. - Direct experience with React, TypeScript, and Base UI (or comparable component library foundations), with interest in cross-stack work.
