Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Role overview Operate and improve cloud platforms so services remain dependable, recoverable, and efficient. The work spans infrastructure automation, delivery pipelines, cloud migrations, and operational resilience for a remote team working across African time zones.

Responsibilities - Define and manage infrastructure as code, reducing repetitive manual operations. - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support reliable software delivery. - Lead cloud migration efforts and identify opportunities to optimize usage and cost. - Improve platform reliability, backup practices, and disaster recovery readiness. - Document operational procedures and infrastructure decisions clearly.

Requirements - Practical experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Strong experience with Terraform and infrastructure automation. - Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes. - An operations-focused approach to reliability and service support. - Clear documentation habits.
