Senior Business Analyst, Remote

Role overview The Senior Business Analyst sits at the intersection of business needs, data, and engineering on complex, large-scale transformation programs. The role centers on translating stakeholder goals into well-structured requirements while coordinating across multiple delivery teams in an Agile, delivery-focused environment. Responsibilities - Elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements spanning multi-team initiatives - Author both high-level business User Stories and detailed technical stories with clear acceptance criteria - Drive backlog refinement and prioritization in partnership with Product Owners and engineering squads - Contribute to solution design for distributed, web-based systems and data platforms - Analyze and validate data models and relational database structures - Support testing activities, including requirements validation and UAT coordination - Maintain high-quality documentation in Jira and Confluence - Participate in system migrations and platform transformation programs

Requirements - 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on complex IT initiatives - Strong SQL skills paired with a solid grasp of relational databases and data modeling concepts - Hands-on experience with distributed systems and platform-based architectures - Proficiency with Jira and Confluence - Demonstrated success on migration projects spanning multiple teams and integrations - Experience operating in fixed-price, Scrum-based delivery models - Strong Agile methodology background and stakeholder management skills - EU residency and valid work permit

Nice to have - Practical experience using AI-powered coding or productivity assistants to enhance software delivery - Familiarity with structured GenAI workflows, prompt patterns, or agent-based automation embedded in the SDLC - Domain knowledge in leasing or railway industries - Experience collaborating with SAP systems
