Solutions Architect - East

Role overview

A regional Solutions Architect role supporting pre-sales for an application security platform focused on software supply chain security. The position sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer teams, helping prospects understand how call-graph-based dependency analysis surfaces and prioritizes real risk across modern, dependency-rich codebases. It is a customer-facing role that translates complex security concepts for both developers and security leaders.

Responsibilities

- Lead technical discovery, tailored demos, and proof-of-concept evaluations with enterprise prospects - Educate customers on application security and software supply chain risk, including how AI-authored and long-running legacy code fit into the picture - Partner with engineering and product teams to design solutions that address customer-specific challenges and feed field insights back into the roadmap - Guide onboarding and adoption to ensure customers realize value from the platform - Serve as a deep product expert and evangelist for the supply chain security suite - Translate customer feedback into continuous product improvement

Requirements

- Background in pre-sales, sales engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role with complex enterprise evaluations - Solid grasp of modern software development: backend or full-stack experience, CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and DevOps tooling - Familiarity with application security, software supply chain security, or identity and access management concepts - Comfort engaging developer and security audiences at the enterprise level across an end-to-end sales cycle - Programming literacy and the ability to meet developers where they work - Collaborative, action-oriented mindset with curiosity for new technology

Nice to have

- Prior experience securing cloud-native environments or working within open-source ecosystems - Comfort spanning a wide range of stacks, from long-running legacy codebases to modern Bazel monorepos
