DevOps Engineer

Role overview Improve the infrastructure and delivery practices that support software across development, lab, and production environments. The role combines infrastructure automation, release coordination, modernization, and hands-on investigation of operational issues, working closely with development, support, and platform teams.

Responsibilities - Manage and improve deployment and release processes across multiple environments. - Design, maintain, and refine infrastructure and delivery solutions for reliability, performance, and cost efficiency. - Help teams adopt effective DevOps practices and maintain infrastructure standards through Infrastructure as Code. - Coordinate product and operating system updates across environments. - Support development and operations teams in investigating critical production incidents. - Contribute to planning, release management, documentation, and ongoing process improvements.

Requirements - Hands-on DevOps or similar experience, with practical use of Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with Docker and Docker Swarm, preferably in on-premises settings, and with cloud and on-premises or air-gapped environments. - Working knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, CloudFormation, VPC, subnets, AMIs, load balancers, S3, and ECR. - Experience creating and troubleshooting Azure Pipelines; understanding of Infrastructure as Code, automation practices, and JSON. - Strong troubleshooting, independent problem-solving, and communication skills with technical and non-technical colleagues. - Familiarity with Agile collaboration and accurate technical documentation; English proficiency at B2 or above. Practical use of AI coding assistants in software delivery is also expected.

Nice to have - Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as the ELK Stack and Grafana. - Experience managing firewalls, particularly FortiGate.
