Job details
About this role
Role overview
Build and operate the infrastructure that supports solution demonstrations, partner sandboxes, and prototypes developed in the field. You will manage environments through their full lifecycle, automate repeatable work, and help promising prototypes become production services with clear ownership and support. The role works closely with solutions, sales engineering, product engineering, and DevOps teams.
Responsibilities
- Provision and maintain demonstration environments, including cloud or data center instances, seeded datasets, and multi-product setups; refresh and retire environments as needed. - Create self-service sandboxes that let partners demonstrate products independently. - Automate technical processes to reduce support overhead and shorten the time needed to prepare demonstrations. - Maintain technical documentation used for security questionnaires, proposals, and trust-related responses. - Monitor environment health, provisioning speed, and capacity, and resolve operational bottlenecks. - Take field-built prototypes into production by coordinating code ownership, hosting, deployment, support, and graduation criteria with engineering teams.
Requirements
- Three or more years in site reliability, platform engineering, DevOps, or systems engineering; experience supporting presales or solutions teams is useful. - Hands-on administration and provisioning of Atlassian cloud or data center tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Bitbucket. - Experience operating demo or sandbox environments, managing their lifecycle, and using seeded or synthetic data. - Infrastructure automation skills, including scripting in Python or Bash and infrastructure-as-code practices. - Practical experience with containers, orchestration such as Docker and Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools. - Experience preparing existing tools or prototypes for production, including review, deployment, hosting, and ongoing support. - Clear technical writing and effective collaboration across technical and customer-facing teams.
Benefits and work setup
- Fully remote within Bulgaria. - The listed package includes equity, 26 paid vacation days, 12 wellness days, paid volunteering time, private health insurance, a fitness card, and monthly food vouchers. Employees in Sofia also receive a public transport card, and a one-time baby bonus is listed.
